Heinz H. Pariser, Principal Consultant

Heinz has over 55 years of experience in the metals industry. He is an internationally recognised authority in the stainless steel, nickel-base alloys, ferroalloy, nickel and scrap industries. Trained in metals forwarding in LME warehouses in Rotterdam and Hamburg, he spent several years as a market researcher at INCO, before trading nickel at the LME on behalf of today’s ELG Haniel. In 1981, Heinz became the nucleus of Heinz H. Pariser Alloy Metals & Steel Market Research, acquired by Roskill in 2017.

Beatrix

Beatrix Pariser-Nowak, Marketing Consultant

Beatrix contributes a further 35 years of industry experience. After her original background in teaching English and history, she has been involved with the stainless, nickel and ferroalloy industry alongside Heinz since the early 1980s. She has been a well-known speaker at international conferences worldwide. Beatrix has been responsible for sales and marketing of Pariser’s research products, and has helped guide many dozens of projects in the world of stainless steel, nickel and chrome to successful completion.

Jack

Jack Bedder, Manager, Roskill Pariser

Jack joined Roskill in 2012 and since 2016 has managed its Steel Alloy division, which since 2017 includes Pariser. Jack has previously worked as a Senior Economist for one of the UK’s leading economic consultancies, and in the public sector, and is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Cambridge where his research explores supply risk in critical material markets. Jack supervises research products including Roskill Pariser’s Weekly Fax Service, as well as multi-client products covering commodities such as manganese, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. He works closely with Heinz and the Roskill Pariser team on consulting projects covering these and other topics.

Robert

Robert Baylis, Managing Director

Robert has been Roskill’s Managing Director since 2012, and has managed its Industrial Minerals and Minor Metals division’s previously. He also leads Roskill’s consulting division. With a background in Geology and Mineral Project Appraisal, Robert’s past research, consulting and managerial experience provides him with extensive subject knowledge across Roskill’s products and services. Robert is the Managing Director of Roskill Pariser and in charge of the management of the division’s consulting assignments.

Thomas

Thomas Höhne-Sparborth, Director, Economics & Analytics

Thomas has specialised in steel alloys and their exposure to macroeconomic developments since he joined Roskill in 2012. He has become a well-known speaker at nickel conferences and has led numerous research projects on nickel, chrome and vanadium. He is responsible for Roskill’s quantitative modelling and in-house database of end use statistics. He has led the development of a number of forecasting models, including for steel and stainless steel demand, molybdenum prices, and other commodity trends.

Irmi

Irmtraud Terhorst, Senior Data Analyst

Irmi has been with Pariser since 1987. Together with Michaela, she is responsible for much of the data collection for Pariser’s regular products, including the Weekly Fax Service, involving the collection of data direct from producers, consumers and other sources of industry information. She has also been involved in a number of research and consulting projects, including in South Africa.

Michaela

Michaela Lamers, Senior Data Analyst

Michaela works closely with Heinz and Irmi focusing on market research and data analysis, including on stainless steel and nickel-base alloys. She has worked in these fields since 1991 and has tracked the evolution of trends in these markets for more than two decades. She has played a key role in the collection of data for numerous consulting projects covering a wide variety of topics.

Erika

Erika Goliasch, Administrative Assistant

Since joining Pariser in 1997, Erika has supported the work of the office in a variety of roles. In addition to ensuring the smooth running of the office and its administration, she assists Beatrix to help ensure the best service is provided to Roskill Pariser’s clients.

Claudia

Claudia Higgs, Administrative Assistant

Claudia joined the Roskill Pariser team in 2017, and helps coordinate between Xanten and London, and the timely delivery of projects to clients. Claudia will be able to direct any enquiries to the appropriate person and ensure a rapid response to any questions on the mineral and metal markets covered by Roskill Pariser.
